Wanderlust Weekly: You've built a strong community following in Goodyear, what are some of your proudest moments? Eva Shaw: Developing a team of experienced teachers and staff who are deeply rooted into the community and work to see the student base's practice and joy grow. Spreading our programs to communities throughout the west valley who wouldn't otherwise experience yoga. Spreading our kids yoga programs to multiple school districts and providing classes during the school day so all children can experience the joy of yoga! Working with the community to create Ashtanga Yoga Phoenix - the first program in the Phoenix area to offer an exclusive Mysore program with an authorized teacher from India and continue to bring talented teachers from all over the world.
Wanderlust Weekly: We wish you continued success in 2017, what upcoming news or developments can we look forward to? Eva Shaw: We have many partnerships coming up and excitement around our growing programs. This summer we are kicking off 9 summer enrichment programs which includes kids camps, headliner Ashtanga intensives, adult certifications to include-Reiki, Yin, Restorative, Chair and more ... We will be in 2 more school districts next year spreading the love of yoga to children with ant-bullying and de-stressing techniques. We are excited to promote our global visiting teaches line-up for the Fall-Spring year. [ learn more ]
